Just because the ancient law does not permit it, the gods were not able to take a side in the war between Hyperion and the humans. This is where Theseus intervened. He was a peasant chosen by Zeus to be accompanied by the priestess Phaedra and the slave to protect his homeland and save the gods from Hyperion and his group of Titans.
